Swedish born art dealer, Helena Fox, a fifth generation art collector, received her Honors Bachelor of the Arts degree in Latin American Political and Economic History from York University in Toronto, Canada. Upon graduating, Fox spent twenty years in the television industry as a production manager in Canada, Costa Rica and the United States. In 2000, the Fox family moved to Charleston, SC from Costa Rica in pursuit of better education for her two young children. In 2002, on behalf of ABC network, she won the National Communications Award for America’s Promise to Children, The Colin Powell Initiative. In 2003, Helena Fox pursued her dream and opened Helena Fox Fine Art in Charleston, SC. The gallery mirrors her passion of the finest of contemporary American representational Art and upholds standards that reflect her keen eye and intuition. For the past thirteen years, Fox has curated numerous private and institutional collections across the United States, Central America, and Europe.
